In 1967 the MkII Jaguar 2.4 and 3.4 became the 240 and 340 respectively. Identified by smaller front and rear bumper bars, Ambla synthetic leather trim (leather was an option) and the replacement of front fog lamps with circular grilles. It was something of a runout model for Jaguar until the XJ6 arrived, the 240 enjoyed a resurgence but the 340 found only 2,700 buyers, making them quite a rare breed today. |
